What Gynaecomastia.ie is
Gynaecomastia.ie is an independent guide to gynaecomastia and an introduction service, run by Bartlomiej Standa, trading as Elevate Ireland. The guides explain what the condition is, what causes it, how to tell it from chest fat, when to see a GP, what helps without surgery and when surgery makes sense. We do not give medical advice, we do not examine anyone and we do not carry out treatment. Only a doctor who has examined you can tell you what you have and what suits you.

What happens when you use the check
- You answer nine questions and see the likely answer and the next step. Nothing is sent at that point.
- If you're under 18, or you ticked a warning sign, the check tells you to see your GP and doesn't offer to send anything.
- If you're an adult and want a consultation, you add your first name and mobile number and tick the consent box. Only then does your enquiry reach us.
- We pass it to one clinic. The clinic contacts you to arrange a consultation with a surgeon. Nothing is booked, and nothing is paid, until you say yes to the clinic directly.
What we look for in a clinic
- Surgeons on the Medical Council's Specialist Register in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery
- A consultation with the surgeon who will operate, an examination, and time to think before you book
- Questions about the cause first: medicines, steroids, your GP's findings, and a GP referral where anything needs checking
- No surgery for anyone under 18
- A written, all-in price before any deposit, and clear aftercare with someone to ring at night
We do not take payment from you. The clinic we work with pays us for introductions, which is how this site is funded. That does not change the information on these pages, and you never pay more for coming through us.
